Here is a quick little video of Lucas pedeling his tricycle all by himself! Notice we started him out on the deck and in the cul-d-sac- NOT on our driveway!! ;) He loves it and asks to go get the mail just about every day so he has a chance to ride it. Such a big boy :)

We're Here! UPDATED*
We really are alive and well here. Just trying to soak in every spare moment (ha- what are those?) with all of these sweet kiddos and keep our house somewhat maintained, bellies fed, and cakes baked and decorated! Time is SO precious nowadays and I wish I spent more fleeting moments on here keeping you all up to date...but...I have failed! :(
Peyton and Kayleigh are five months old now...YIKES..time has flown by way too fast! They are doing great and we are all loving every baby grin and giggle we can get- even Lucas loves to tell us- "look mommy she is pileing at me!" followed by hugs of course. They are growing so fast- both are in 3-6 month clothes which probably won't fit too much longer. Peyton is losing her long locks and Kayleigh seems to be growing some, go figure ;) They have both begun rolling both ways but not to the point of traveling around just yet. For the most part they like their tummy time and LOVE playing on their playmat. Kayleigh is working on sitting up, she practices in the bathtub now. They can both do it with a little support otherwise. I just cleaned up the exersaucers and the jumper to break in some new baby favorites. Seriously...our house looks like a daycare center! If you know anyone who needs a sitter, let me know, it is baby heaven around here these days ;) Not a shortage of toddler toys too!

Lucas has stayed busy with school during the day and playtime with mommy and daddy in the evenings and on the weekend. He has been busy planting flowers with mommy, helping daddy cut the grass, running through the sprinkler, playing with fun water toys, riding his tricycle and scooter, and so much more! He loves to be outside so much so that we usually have to beg him to come in for dinner, or when it is just too hot out there. Silly boy! :)

As for me I have been working on cakes like crazy! I feel very blessed that things are going so great and I am enjoying it. I need to work on balancing work and mommyhood though. Some days when I am up to my elbows in fondant and icing, a little one will need lots of extra TLC which of course takes precedence! So I work so pretty strange hours but get it done. But you do what you gotta do, right? :)Especially once Lucas is home most of the week, that will make things interesting BUT I am really looking forward to spending more time with him too. Once he gets transitioned to his new teachers at school we hope to cut him back to just a couple of days a week. I did get a special treat a few weeks ago and spent the better part of a weekend and an overnight down in Williamsburg with some great girls. We shopped at the outlets, went out for a nice dinner, and even to a Martini Bar! Such a treat!!! It was nice to have some "me" time, and girl time at that. I think it needs to become a biannual trip!
That really catches you up with us for the most part. Hope things are great in your lives and to be back on here much sooner! ;)
