Lucas got this hat at Firehouse a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it! That doesn't suprise us though because he is obsessed with fire trucks and other emergency vehicles, just like most little boys :) He lights up and points them out all of the time while we are driving down the road or when he hears one in the distance. He is VERY specific in telling us what type it is (ladder truck, small fire truck, etc.) and wants us to imitate the sirens...Too funny!He also loves policemen. When we see the cars on the road or at church, or the policemen eating in Chick-Fil-A, he gets excited and asks "what day doin' mommy?" Last week he came home and suprised us when we were playing by saying " da policeman gonna lock you up!", apparently he plays this game with his little friends at school! So now we threaten him when he is being bad or not listening that we are calling the policeman and he is gonna come to the house and lock him up!!! ;) It helps sometimes....He actually pulled out his play phone in the van on the way to church Sunday and "called" the policeman and told him "daddy's being bad Mr. Policeman, come lock him up!" We had to turn our heads to laugh, gotta love toddlers!
